We can lift and dispose of the old carpet, check the floor, fit underlay to suit the room, then stretch the carpet properly so it doesn’t ruck. Seams go where you won’t see them, and every doorway is neatly finished.

Stairs and landings

Stairs show bad fitting more than anywhere else. We fit carpet waterfall or Hollywood (wrapped) style, carpet runners on request, and make sure the pile runs down the stairs so it wears evenly. Twist and loop piles hard-wearing enough for family stairs are worth asking about.

Underlay advice

We match underlay to the room: firmer for stairs and hallways, softer for bedrooms. It makes a bigger difference to comfort and lifespan than most people expect.
